The Door Skin
Manufactured using reinforced 4mm GRP skins, our industry leading composite doors are the closest in appearance to wood, but without the associated maintenance requirements. Maintaining the kerb appeal of a traditional timber, the construction of our door surpasses other alternatives. The door protects your home from the elements but will have minimal thermal expansion and contraction rates. The PU foam core reduces heat loss, providing a high level of thermal performance.
Insulating Glass Unit (IGU)
28mm thick double and triple glazed units, manufactured can be supplied with either clear or obscure glass as standard, with a wide range of decorative glass designs to choose from.
The Glazing Cassette
The industry leading TriSYS® glazing system is an innovative 3-part design. This allows easy replacement units to be easily changed over, should you change your mind or suffer damage that would otherwise require a new door.
The Handles
With a choice of 10 different lever-operated handles, as well as a wide range of pull handles, bars and knobs, you can be sure to find an entrance method that is both attractive and perfectly suited to your lifestyle. All our handles are stainless steel and corrosion resistant.
Multi-point Lock and Keeps
High security multi-point locking systems from Ingenious Locks are tested to the rigorous BS 8529 / PAS 24 security standards and are Secured by Design accredited, ensuring that your home is protected by the highest security possible.
ATK Cylinder
The most secure cylinder on the market - fitted as standard. Sold Secure Diamond and TS007 3-star accredited, plus 3-star Kitemark providing protection against intruder attacks.
Thresholds
The optional aluminium threshold provides a significant reduction in step-over height compared to the standard uPVC frame, with the mobility aluminium threshold providing ease of access for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
Edge Banding
Each door slab is fully weather-sealed using a 1.3mm thick PVC edge banding that is applied to all sides.
Weather Bars
Provided on open-in doors, weather bars deflect water away from the face of the door during rainfall, helping to minimise the amount of water passing through the door’s internal drainage system.
The Door Frame
Multi-chambered profiles provide excellent levels of energy efficiency with every door, saving you money on energy bills. The composite door outer frame is triple sealed with two brush gaskets and a co-extruded bubble seal to keep out the elements.
